the Corners
Marcus was handed the "C" at twenty-six, in the middle of the rebuild, when the room needed a steady voice more than a star. He responded by playing through a fractured finger in the playoff push and blocking more shots than any defenseman in club history.
His pre-game speech before the 2018 treble final is still quoted in the academy dressing rooms word for word.
