Player
Development

From first strides to elite travel teams — the complete pathway for young hockey players.

What It Entails

Every Level,
One Pathway

Player Development is the backbone of Ironvale Hockey Club. Skaters enter at any age and move through clearly defined stages — Learn to Skate, House League, Select, and Elite Travel — each with its own curriculum for skating mechanics, puck skills, and hockey sense.

Groups train twice weekly on dedicated academy ice, and every skater gets a personal development plan reviewed with parents each quarter. No one gets lost in the numbers: our coach-to-player ratio never exceeds one to ten.
